This beautiful cross design was found on the centuries old grave of Archibald Campbell in Argyll, Scotland: the ancient bastion of the Clan Campbell.  The design is made up entirely of interlaced knotwork which is endless, symbolizing the Alpha and Omega beginning and end the eternal circle.  It is the very essence of Celtic knotwork design.  The outer circle symbolizes heaven.
